The ski area...Major facilities

Châtel lies at the heart of the Portes du Soleil Franco-Swiss ski area, one of Europe’s biggest ski areas, which combines 12 resorts.

The Châtel ski area provides snow sport enthusiasts and more meditative skiers with a wide range of options for a holiday to suit each person.

It is divided between two Massifs: Barbossine /Super-Châtel and Linga / Pré-la-Joux, which extend from 1100 to 2200 metres in altitude.
