GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
ARTICLE 1: APPLICATION OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
The following conditions apply to any room reservation at the Macchi Hotel. Any booking necessarily implies your full acceptance of these general conditions of sale.
ARTICLE 2: OFFER
In accordance with common practice, rooms are available from 4 PM and must be vacated by 10 AM. Failure to comply with this check-out time may result in an additional night being billed. If you expect to arrive after 9 PM, we strongly advise you to call the hotel and notify us of the approximate time when you expect to take possession of the room. We will be pleased to keep your baggage in our luggage room and a shower can be made available to you on arrival and departure days if requested in advance. We are not able to provide any absolute guarantee concerning a room allocation.
ARTICLE 3: RESERVATION AND GUARANTEES
Any reservation must be confirmed in writing (e-mail, fax or post). The reservation must be guaranteed by the payment of a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay and the services purchased, by bank cheque, transfer, or any other means. The following bank cards are accepted: Visa and Eurocard/Mastercard.
ARTICLE 4: TOTAL OR PARTIAL CANCELLATION
- 4.1 Cancellation with more than 30 days’ notice
If a cancellation takes place more than 30 days before the planned date of arrival, your deposit will be refunded except for a forfeit of €50.
- 4.2 Cancellation with less than 30 days’ notice
If a cancellation takes place less than 30 days before the planned date of arrival, your deposit will not be refunded.
- 4.3 Stays in progress and stays cut short
Any cancellation of a stay in progress or the cutting short of a stay will give rise to invoicing of the entire stay minus any purchased services not used (breakfast, half-board, etc.).
ARTICLE 5: PAYMENT
The balance of the invoice must be paid at the end of your stay.

Prices (inclusive of tax) are posted in euros. Prices are subject to change without notice.
