An exceptional environment
The Macchi hotel has been evolving for more than 50 years in the heart of the French Alps.
Every morning, our customers and employees start the day facing grandiose landscapes: spruce forests, vast mountain pastures and the sky which, here, seems even more immense. The nature that surrounds us is generous but also fragile. We are aware of this and strive to protect it, at our level. We regularly implement actions to reduce our environmental impact.
Our concrete actions

Use of “Vapodil” to clean the rooms, a dry steam device that disinfects and propels steam at more than 120°C.

“Aquachiara” water fountain: we serve high quality filtered water (still or sparkling) to our customers in reusable glass bottles.

Installation of soapdishes fixed to the wall to avoid waste and disposable containers.

Towels replacement not automatic and only on request.

Reusable or ecological straws.

Second life for paper: reuse of draft sheets for the printer or other uses.

Our customers can use our electrical terminals to charge their cars (all brands).

Catering based on fresh and mainly local products: “Ferme de Marin” for the eggs,” GAEC Ferme de La Lanche” in Abondance for the cheese...
